With the news that Jorja Fox may be leaving CSI for good, legions of fans have mobilized. Reminiscent of the Jericho Nuts campaign that saved an entire show, Jorja fans are hoping to save just one woman-Sara Sidle…or maybe it’s Jorja Fox. Whatever the case, a large grassroots campaign is responding to reports that Jorja Fox may leave the hit show due to a salary dispute The initiative actually has two parts.

Looks like Wolfe might be in the midst of the action for Cyber-lebrity. And someone’s after Horatio too? Apparently he didn’t get the memo, H is bullet proof.
Always nice to see the various promos. A La Cart will definately give us a little more incite on the the Grissom-Sara relationship. Grissom seems to think they’ve been together for 9 years while several has a different take on things…
Looks like Ecklie is going to want to talk to Grissom and Sara about their formerly secret relationship. Wonder what the fallout will be? The episode details for A La Cart can be found HERE.
A few minutes after fans breathed a sigh of relief that Sara Sidle lived they let out a groan of disappointment. Immediately after the finale aired in much of the United States, TV Guide posted an interview with Jorja Fox. Ausiello maintians that Fox is set to leave the show.
I’m guessing Fox may be ready to talk about it on Nov. 9, which is the day after her final CSI is slated to air. The title of her swan song is, appropriately enough, “Hello, Goodbye.”
It’s important to note that those are Ausiello’s words, not Jorja’s. Jorja does admit to some tense contract negotiations. While other cast members extended contracts early on, Jorja chose not to for many reasons.
“Doing this show has been one of the most rewarding things in my life. It’s almost intangible to be able to describe how much I love and respect everybody over there. At the time, there was a lot of drama at our show. A lot of people had been put through the ringer, and to be perfectly frank with you, I was uncertain at that point [about staying]. There were some hard feelings that went around, and I didn’t want to enlist for any extra time at that point. I was feeling a little hurt and angry by some of the events that happened a couple of years ago that relate to the firing of myself and George Eads. And so, at that point, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to give anybody any extra time. And the raise was terrible, to be frank. An extra year for that amount of money? No thank you. Thank you very much, it’s very flattering, but no thank you.”
Jorja declined to comment on her current status or plans because she is currently under contract but said she would talk about it in the future. Presumably her speaking on the subject would jeopardize storyline secrecy. According the New York Post, CBS refused to comment on Jorja’s status.
I’m not really sure what to believe but it is important to note that Ausiello has been wrong about things in the past. One incident that comes to mind is when he firmly said there would be no Grissom-Sara romance in the Season 6 finale. You’ll remember that the last scene of that finale showed Sara and Grissom in the bedroom.
I wonder if Jorja will actually be leaving for a few episodes, similar to the sabbatical that William Petersen took in Season 7, only to return in early 2008. It would still make Ausiello’s pronouncement true-in a way. What do you think?
The CSI Vegas premier is almost upon us and I’ll bet you need to catch up. Below you’ll find all the information you need to get ready tonight’s episode. Enjoy!
Well the CSI finale is less than 24 hours away and there’s a question on everyone’s minds. Has Sara died or will Sara die under that darn car? We took a poll back in May and most of you thought that Sara would live. Now that you’ve had the summer to think it over do you still think Sara will live? Cast your vote your vote below.
Basically she can’t talk about Sara and she can’t talk about any potential romance but she wants you to watch. They’ve already indoctrinated her with the party line.
Now…the romance question threw me because I didn’t think she’d be on the show long enough for it to even matter. Could she be having a romance? Maybe a light flirtation? Who with? Greg? Nick? I’m going with a minor flirtation with Greg. He’s the youngest and she’s awfully young. Is it Thursday yet?
(NOTE TO EDITORS: The following episode of CSI: MIAMI has been substituted for the one previously scheduled for Oct. 1) — WHILE THE INTERNET TURNS A HIGH SCHOOL GIRL INTO AN INTERNATIONAL SEX SYMBOL, INFORMATION LEAKED ABOUT HORATIO PUTS HIS LIFE IN DANGER, ON “CSI: MIAMI,” MONDAY, OCT. 1
“Cyber-lebrity” - After the Internet turns a high school girl into an international sex symbol, information leaked about Horatio puts his life in danger, on CSI: MIAMI, Monday, Oct. 1 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Over the weekend, David Caruso hung out with very pregnant partner Liza Marquez and 2-year-old son Anthony Marquez Caruso in a Los Angeles park. Liza is due to have the couple’s second child within the next few weeks but to me it looks like she’s due to pop any day. David also has a 22-year-old daughter named Greta who’s a recent Yale graduate. At one point, she was linked to actor Jake Gyllenhaal.Looks like Anthony got a haircut since his last public appearance. Do I see a red tinge to those dark waves of his?
CSI:NY has used a historical photo as a basis for it’s Season 5 cast shot.
“‘CSI: NY’ chose the Charles C. Ebbets 1932 ‘Lunch on a Skyscraper’ photograph because we wanted to cement our cast members as timeless icons in this generation,” said Anthony E. Zuiker, creator of the “CSI” franchise. “If you look closely, there is a story within the story with all of the actors.”
The original photo depicts 11 construction workers eating lunch on a steal girder with their feet dangling hundreds of feet above the New York City streets. The picture was snapped in 1932 on the 69th floor of the GE Building towards the end of the building’s construction.
The Devil, in this image, is in the details,” he[Zuiker] said. “For example, Stella [Melina Kanakaredes] is holding an iPhone while Mac [Gary Sinise] opts to lower his New York Times. Indeed, a sign of the times in terms of technology. Paper versus wireless. Danny [Carmine Giovinazzo] and Lindsay [Anna Belknap] are sharing a sandwich, but if you look closely, her toes grabbing the cuff of his jeans signifies their love for each other. In fact, the two make a perfect heart. I’ll leave the rest of the cast to your imagination.”
Eva La Rue, Adam Rodriquez, Emily Procter, and Jonathan Togo rocked the CBS Monday Night Premier. Eva looked pretty in pink while Adam sported a jaunty hat and Emily was sultry in black. The event was held at the Area in West Hollywood on September 19th.
Still no real sighting of Sara past the first episode where she’s trapped under the car. TPTB are really keeping it under wraps. Nice to see Warrick and Catherine working together. Wonder what will become of his wife? I know they were having problems last season but nothing ever really came of it. Only a few days away folks.
Giggly over Grissom? Hot for Horatio? Manic over Mac? We follow the ins and outs of all three CSIs. We cover everything from CSI contract negotiation to light spoilers. I promise I won't ruin any major plot twist for you.
We'll cover our actors on the red carpet, working on other projects of course on our beloved CSI. CSI is one of the most successful franchises in TV history. We won't miss one titillating moment. The evidence never lies.
