Method Man is BACK!!
Melina Kanakaredes is a stunner at last Sunday’s Comedy for a Cure(April, 6). Proceeds from the benefit went the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance.
Tuberous sclerosis complex is a genetic condition characterized by lesions of the skin and central nervous system, tumor growth and seizures. The disease affects some people severely, while others are so mildly affected that it often goes undiagnosed. Some people with tuberous sclerosis experience developmental delay, mental retardation and autism. However, there are also many people with tuberous sclerosis living independent, healthy lives who are enjoying challenging professions such as doctors, lawyers, educators and researchers.
This year’s event was headed by Patricia Heaton.

Eddie Cahill is doing his second round of blogging as a Rangers fan.
Well, I’m back again, looking forward to another Rangers’ run. I’m glad you’re back, especially you Rangers fans, and hopefully what we saw last year can be built upon by the boys in blue. In fact, I’m almost counting on it.
First of all, I got to about five Rangers games live this season, and there was definitely an overall increase in speed. And actually, I think this season is the first time I’m looking at a complete team. Lines 1-4 are made up guys who know how to play: hockey players.
Some folks suggest that Danny isn’t kissing Lindsay in this scene. It really never occurred. What do you guys think.
The folks over at the the William Petersen Appreciation Page(if you haven’t been over there you should really check it out) have kicked off a letter writing campaign to show Billy how much his fans care. Here’s how it’s going to work:
We[WPAP] are inviting our site visitors to email to us their letters addressed to Billy, or scan for us your sketches/artwork. We will print them all, collect and display them in a classy binder and have them delivered to Billy during the run of Dublin Carol. We cannot guarantee any responses, but we can guarantee they will be delivered. We will contact Billy beforehand to make him aware of the project and to expect a package from us.
Rest assured that we will not be reading your letters; we will treat them as private. They can be as short or as long as you wish, we will just print them out with no cost to you and you will not have to worry about finding the time to get to the post office. Anything sent in color will be printed out in color. We will arrange everything for you.
There is plenty of time to work on your letters or artwork as our deadline is 31st October 2008, this gives both you and us plenty of time to get the package ready. At this time we do not know the exact date it will be delivered, but as soon as it is we will let everyone know. We will also post regular updates on our LJ in respect of the project.
You can write about anything you like. If you want to write but you are not quite sure what to say, here are some ideas:
They will only accept letters via email. Email letters and artwork to wpapfanprojects[at]yahoo.com
I can’t believe they deleted the scene from this week’s ep. At least CBS released it on the internet. I do wish they’d include a tiny bit more character development on the show. Notice that the pic of Grissom and Sara has the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Is this relationship pre-Vegas? Interesting…

William Petersen will one busy man over the next couple of years. In addition to his winter run at Steppenwolf, he’ll also star in “as-yet-undetermined project directed by Dennis Zacek, his longtime mentor and Victory Gardens’ artistic director” during the Summer of 2009. Victory Gardens is a “ seminal institution within the Chicago Theater Movement of the 1970s and 1980s, dedicated by mission to serving playwrights and producing world premiere plays.” The theater recently celebrated it’s 30th season. Zacek has been the artistic director for over 20 years, producing more than 150 shows including Jim Sherman’s The God of Isaac and Lonnie Carter’s Lemuel.
The William Petersen project will run July 3-Aug. 9, 2009. For tickets call Tickets: (773) 871-3000. So much Billy so little time.
Bit ‘o Trivia: Victory gardens were private gardens planted during WWI and WWWII in order to ease public food consumption during war.

Thanks to a reduced work load, William Petersen will definitely be back for Season 9. Woohoo!
Under a one-year pact with “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” producer CBS Paramount Network TV, Petersen will appear in a reduced number of episodes for a salary said to be in the neighborhood of $600,000 an episode. Petersen, who was reportedly earning about $500,000 per episode, making him one of the highest-paid primetime actors, also serves as an executive producer on the show. (Each season is about two-dozen episodes.)
Billy plans to revise his role in a Dublin Carol at Chicago’s legendary Steppenwolf Theater from November 13-December 21. No word on who(if anyone) will sub for him as Liev Schreiber did in Season 7. We know Liev won’t be back because his character bit the dust at the end of his run. This is great news only if the SAG(the Screen Actors Guild) decides not to strike. The first bad sign is SAGs separation from the The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. When unions decide to divide, you can bet that negotiations are more than just perfunctory. Stay tuned. Hopefully we aren’t in for another strike.
Giggly over Grissom? Hot for Horatio? Manic over Mac? We follow the ins and outs of all three CSIs. We cover everything from CSI contract negotiation to light spoilers. I promise I won't ruin any major plot twist for you.
We'll cover our actors on the red carpet, working on other projects of course on our beloved CSI. CSI is one of the most successful franchises in TV history. We won't miss one titillating moment. The evidence never lies.
