CBS just released a Grissom-Sara video similar to one they released earlier this year with added previews from Season 9. Enjoy.
Despite all my apprehensions about all the changing for this season, I’m starting to get excited. What about you guys?
There is now absolutely no excuse for you to miss an episode of CSI. In addition to CBS main website, you’ll soon be able to catch the latest CSI episode on “on Facebook, MySpace, and Google’s personalized homepage, iGoogle”. iWidgets will allow social network users to screen shows on their own pages. CBS already using Bebo for some of their shows.
Marg Helgenberger and Melina Kanakaredes do their bit for cancer research Friday’s Stand Up to Cancer benefit. Marg’s mother is a cancer survivor that battled the disease for 27 years. I’m not sure how Melina has been personally been touched by cancer but I know she’s champion for breast caner research.
Here’s our first promo of CSI:NY’s fifth season. Episode details are HERE.
CSI Triva tidbit
Veritas means truth is honesty and truthfulness in Latin.
In Roman mythology, Veritas (meaning truth) was the goddess of truth, a daughter of Saturn and the mother of Virtue. It was believed that she hid in the bottom of a holy well because she was so elusive. Her image is shown as a young virgin dressed in white.

Margamania was able to grab a sneak peek of this ad which will appear in the September 22nd People Magazine. (Click to enlarge.) I do so hate it when ads show Grissom with no beard when he’s still bearded for the season. CSI will lead in the new series Eleventh Hour. Lucky them. I’ve convinced that the CSI lead was was part of the reason Without a Trace did so well it’s first few years.
Dr. Jacob Hood played by Rufus Sewell is “a brilliant biophysicist and special science advisor to the government, as he investigates scientific crises and oddities.” He also gets doesn’t approve when people misappropriate scientific discoveries. Sounds like a guy that Grissom would like. Grissom believes science should be used for the good of humanity. Catch a preview of Eleventh Hour below. Looks pretty good.
CBS has exclusive advertising rights for this issue People. Other ads are:
