William Petersen In Cannes

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

williampetersencannes

I’d heard a few internet rumors that William Petersen was in Cannes but I couldn’t pinpoint why. Turns out he’s appearing at the MIPTV conference in the French city. It’s a venue for selling, buying, financing and distributing media internationally. Billy was there promoting CSI and to present at the International Digital Emmy Awards (IDEA). I think Billy looks good with the all white hair. They never let it go completely white on the show because it was too hard to shoot.  He’s even lost a few pounds.  Jorja looks great as well. After working those long hours for years, it looks like leaving the show has been good for them.  I know we miss them but I’m glad they’re enjoying their lives.

Enjoy the photos. We’ve got tons.

Hill Harper Snags NAACP Image Award

Monday, February 18th, 2008

hillnaacp.jpg

It was a sweet Valentine’s Day for Hill Harper who took home an NAACP Image Award for best actor in a drama series. Other nominees included Anthony Anderson (K-Ville), Dennis Haysbert (The Unit), Jesse L. Martin (Law and Order) and Jimmy Smits(Cane). Hill has previously been nominated twice in the category though he’s never won. He did win an Outstanding Supporting Image Award for his work in City of Angels. Gary Dourdan, from the original series, scored an Image Award for Best Supporting Actor in Drama Series in 2003.

Hill’s probably had to cut his campaigning for Barack Obama short in order to head back the set. I can’t wait for the new episodes to start. Is it April yet?

Congratulation Hill. You do great work on CSI:NY

Marg Helgenberger and William Petersen Do the SAG Awards

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

billysag.jpg

Sorry I’ve been so neglectful of this blog. I helped plan a huge party at work it and sucked me in deeper than I imagined. At the end of each work day all I could do was crawl under my bed and turn off the phone.

Marg Helgenberger and William Petersen spiffied up for the Sunday’s Screen Actors Guild Awards. Marg’s hubby, Alan Rosenberg, is SAG president. This particular awards show went off without a hitch because writers were allowed to work for the show. SAG has been extremely supportive of Writes Guild. As a result they cut a deal.

Billy’s beard has returned. He’s probably spending a great deal of time in Chicago and must protect his cute face from the cold.

On to the pics.
