Video:CSI Returns Photos

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

CBS released a photo montage featuring behind-the-scenes snaps of new episode filming. We see a backstage action from all three shows. If you are crime drama fan like myself you’ll also enjoy the photos of NCIS and Criminal Minds.

William Petersen On Health Kick

Sunday, June 3rd, 2007

wphealth.jpg

Janet Charlton has a little diddy about William Petersen’s health kick

CSI’s sexy detective William Petersen admits that summer hiatus has always been a problem when it comes to gaining weight. He usually returns to work a size bigger and THAT creates problems. Not this year. He invested in a home gym and hired a personal trainer to work him over twice a week and police his diet. Petersen says that the older he gets the harder it is to lose weight, so he’s determined not to pack on the pounds this summer. We love that he shops at Pavilions in Hancock park. Presumably that French bread is for his wife Gina Cirone.

I’m not sure how new this picture is. It looks like his hair has been colored and Billy doesn’t dye his hair during the off season. Also the last time it was this dark was Season 6 AND he shaved the beard because of Gina. Why would he grow it back so quickly?

CSI Head Houncho To Receive Award of Excellence

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

cm.jpgThe big big kahuna is getting an award folks. Hopefully Sara supporters won’t picket the location. Hmmmm now there’s an idea. Anywho congratulations Carol.

Carol Mendelsohn, Executive Producer and Showrunner of the number-one scripted drama series on television CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Co-Creator/Executive Producer, CSI: Miami and CSI: NY, is to receive the Award of Excellence at the 28th edition of the Banff World Television Festival, which takes place at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, in Alberta, June 10-13, 2007.

The Award of Excellence acknowledges exceptional achievement through a body of work over an extended period of time. The award will be presented to Mendelsohn by Chair of the Banff Television Festival Foundation and SVP, Corporate Communication, Bell Globemedia, Mary Powers, at the awards luncheon on Sunday, June 11.

Mendelsohn has been the Show Runner/Executive Producer on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation since the pilot episode. Last fall, the show began its seventh season as the number-one scripted drama series on television. She is also a Co-Creator/Executive Producer of CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.

Mendelsohn began her career writing for Stephen Cannell on the drama series Stingray and Wiseguy. She was promoted to producer on Tour of Duty and later Gabriel’s Fire. She earned her Executive Producer stripes during a five-year stint on Melrose Place.

As a producer, she has been nominated for multiple Emmys; WGA Awards; Golden Globes; Producers Guild Awards and the prestigious Edgar Allen Poe Award. She is also a three-time People’s Choice Award winner.

“Carol’s hugely successful career has earned her international recognition and admiration,” says Jennifer Harkness, Executive Director, BWTVF. “We are delighted to have the opportunity to acknowledge this with the Award of Excellence and to provide delegates with access to the thought processes of one of most powerful women in Hollywood.”

Mendelsohn will also be speaking before delegates in one of BWTVF’s Master Class sessions on Tuesday June 12, where she answer questions about her experiences in the broadcast industry and her involvement with the development and production of TV’s most popularseries.

Photos from the CSI Experience Opening

Thursday, May 24th, 2007

The CSI Experience opened last night with a special private party. I love the way Jorja dresses off screen-so fun. Does she immediately cut her hair after the close of each season? I guess it’s the start of a new chapter. If I were Gary I’d demand this photo be removed on the grounds that it just makes me look stupid. I think you can sue for that.

Happy Happy Birthday Hill Harper

Thursday, May 17th, 2007

Hill Harper turns 41 today. Interesting facts about the man who plays Dr. Sheldon Hawkes:

He went to Harvard law school with Barack Obama and is supporting his campaign.

His mother is an anesthesiologist and his father is a psychiatrist. He often calls them to get clarification on medical terms.

He’s the author of the book, Letters To A Young Brother.

Hill and Gary Sinise have agreed not to talk about politics.

His first name is actually Frank. Hill is his mother’s maiden name.

He appeared in Skulls with William Petersen.

Happy Birthday F. Hill Harper!

Gary Dourdan and Eric Szmanda Arrive at The Country Music Awards

Wednesday, May 16th, 2007

Two of our favorite CSIs hit the orange carpet. Gary is a man with of many necklaces and some very tight jeans. He’s been wearing lots of standard black jackets lately. I’d like to see him at least mix up the style even if he doesn’t wear some brighter colors. Eric is quirky and fun. I really do think he and Greg are very much alike.

CSI New York Promo Stills Snow Day(3×24)

Wednesday, May 16th, 2007

Sorry all you Danny and Lindsay shippers no smut promo stills but from I understand there will be smuttage. I wonder if they are going to do it on the pool table? Doesn’t seem fair. They get to smut while everyone else has to fight for their lives. This episode actually has love AND war. snowday1.jpgsnowday2.jpgsnowday3.jpgsnowday4.jpg

Notice how Calleigh and Delko are contrasting? She’s pale and has on black. He’s dark and has on white. Didn’t Horatio have that shirt on last episode?

Thanks for Modern Gallery for the stills. They rock.

CSI Miami Wrap Party

Monday, May 7th, 2007

CSI Miami wrapped or at least had their wrap party on April 21st. Wire Image took “exclusive” pics but there were only six and they mostly involved David Caruso, Emily Proctor and Johnathan Togo.

Wonder why they didn’t get any of Adam Rodriquez. He seems like the kind of guy to never miss a party.

Maybe Togo wasn’t fired. If I was fired I wouldn’t be at the wrap party. Then again if you’ve been fired you need every free meal you can stand.

The party was held at Miami’s Sky Bar which is inside the Shore Club of Miami. Very chichi. csimiamiwrap.jpg
