CBS Honcho talks about Grissom and Sara and Without A Trace Crossover
I’ll just give you the snippet from the Orlando Sentinel because I’ve got no idea what it means with regards to Grissom and Sara. The bit about them is actually confusing. We also get some concrete information about the Without A Trace and CSI Crossover.
Talking to Jonathan Littman at a CBS party is like one-stop shopping. He is behind some television’s biggest hits because of his association with Jerry Bruckheimer. And Littman happily provides previews.
Get ready for a “CSI”-”Without a Trace” crossover that has been three years in the making. “CSI” star William Petersen and “Trace” lead Anthony LaPaglia will do the crossing-over. The story will start on “CSI,” end on “Trace” (returning to 10 p.m. Thursdays) and air back-to-back in November.
“CSI”: “The Sara-Grissom storyline is going to conclude,” Littman says. “Don’t take it in that definitive term. It’s very smartly done.”
Tell me more.
“We have a big storyline finish at the start of the season,” he says. “It will play out for a few episodes. … The ambition of their [the writers'] stories is once again extremely high and extremely quirky. That arc worked so well with Grissom and Sara, that we are going to let these characters breathe this year. Everyone has their moments. The characters are going to have their journeys.”
Any ideas about what the Grissom and Sara quote means?
