I thought this episode was very bizzare. I had looked forward to it since it had Warrick… but where did this drug use suddenly come in? And the writing was more “CSI Miami” than Vegas. It was so over the top and dramatic… everything from the acting to the writing to the way it was shot. It didn’t even feel like the right show.

It was nice to see Warrick get some real air time, but it was a little strange. Too “caught up” to be the real Warrick, at least for me. Have I been in denial or has Warrick been a little plump for a while? Or is this to go along with him “letting himself go” in the wake of his divorce?

Yes, Warrick did look a little “worn out”: heavier, tired, bad skin… so not Warrick-ish! I can only hope after the conclusion of “Cockroaches” they go back to the CSI we know and love. Save the uber drama for CSI Miami.
It’s too bad none of the CSI’s seem to have a normal relationship. Warrick got married for a while, but now even that’s done. Nick dated a stripper. Grisson lost Sarah…. It seems like the only people that have normal relationships are the two coroners.

I thought the drug use came on suddenly as well. I think we could have used some more build up starting from the beginning of the season.
I love that GD got some good screen time but the storyline was bit contrived.
