If the writers want to inject ethnicity into their storylines they need to get their info straight. “Balut” is never eaten as part of a meal — usually as something you would have with beer; it’s also never bloody. And why cast Caucasians for so obviously Filipino roles (Girlie is a common Filipina name/nickname, and Macalino is a Filipino surname)?
