David Caruso Stalker Flees
David Caruso and his family have dealt with a deranged fan for quite some time now. At some point last year, Austrian authorities finally nailed a 41-year-old woman who’d allegedly sent notes to the star.
She managed to avoid trial that time because she was out of the country. This time her attorney assured authorities that she’d be in court yesterday.
Looks like she lied (Wow what a surprise).
The fugitive is accused of sending more than 100 letters to the 52-year-old actor, famed for playing Lt. Horatio Caine on the hit CBS TV series, and stalking him for an autograph. When Caruso refused, the Tyrol native allegedly bombarded him with death threats.
One little chestnut went thusly: “I will locate you and your ugly Latina tramp and kill you.”
Some news reports suggest that she’s talking about Alana De La Garza who played his wife Marisol on the show. I’ve of the mind that the stalker is talking about his most recent partner Liza Marquez(pictured above) who’s also the and mother of his two youngest kids.
Per the Austria Press Agency, the suspect underwent an evaluation by a court-appointed shrink, who testified that the suspect was suffering from a “profound personality disorder.”
If convicted she could face up to three years in prison thanks to tougher Austrian stalking laws. That’s would be on top of her eluding justice charges. My thoughts are with David and his family.

Great story. And yes, the stalker’s anger is directed toward David’s companion, Liza Marquez. The stalker has been identified by two news services as Gabriele Huber. Wherever Huber is hiding out has great Internet service. Huber has been flooding boards, forums and fansites with twice the normal amount of hate posts against David Caruso ever since she became a fugitive. I also maintain a blog which she hit over 100 times yesterday and today she has already hit me nearly 200 times. Cannot figure out what she’s doing. Must be boring being on the lam.

“Brian” is quite likely Heidiemarie (aka Gabriele Huber). The letters, etc., aren’t really alleged, they are a fact and a post of one “chestnut” can be seen on Dojo’s blog (dojodabbles.blogspot.com).

Did anyone here say there was some doubt about that information. Or are you so stressed, frantic and driven that your thoughts can not function? Shame! All that desired attention and now having to hide and disguise. Your stench is farther reaching than you think.

Update to this story:
The name of David Caruso’s stalker is Heidi Schnitzer. In April after Schnitzer fled to avoid prosecution on charges she stalked and threatened to murder David Caruso, Greta Caruo and Liza Marquez, she landed in Tijuana, Mexico where she remains in hiding. Fears are mounting that Schnitzer is planning to illegally enter the U.S. and hunt down David Caruso to follow thru with her death threats.
