Elizabeth Berkley Joins CSI Miami as Horatio’s Ex

Elizabeth Berkely has signed on to CSI Miami as Horatiot’s ex, Kyle’s mom. This is a bit of a surprise to me because I thought they’d drag this storyline out for some time before we actually saw Kyle’s mom.

Berkley’s character, Julia Winston, first turns up as a suspect in her billionaire husband’s murder-duh.

It’ll be interesting to see H interact with Berkley. This will be his first blondey love interest. Yelina, Marisol and that irritating attorney lady all have black hair.  Probably one of the reasons I’ve kinda partial to H.  We black haired chicks must stick together.

Another thing to consider is that they signed this key role in the middle of the writer’s strike. Clearly this one of the last episodes before productions shuts, assuming things continue the way they’ve been going. Guess they are trying to get all sorts of bang for their last few bucks.

Berkley’s film credit includes Showgirls,  Any Given Sunday, Curse of the Jade Scorpion and Rodger Dodger.
