Hill Harper Set To Anchor BET Inauguration Coverage
Well I’m back after a winter hiatus. Luckily there wasn’t much CSI news while I was gone. Hopefully you all had a happy and healthy holiday season.
On to the latest news. Hill Harper is set to anchor presidential inaugural coverage. The cable network plans extensive coverage of the 44th presidential inauguration. In addition to Hill, the broadcast will be anchored by “former CBS The Early Show host Rene Syler and Jeff Johnson, who hosts a weekly BET news program.”
“This is an opportunity to be the best we can be,” BET’s programming head Stephen Hill. “We see this as an opportunity to inform and inspire our audience, which is what we always try to do.” The network will focus on those who’ve traveled from across the country to attend.
I wonder how much time will spend the air? He was/is a huge Obama supporter so I’m sure he’s been invited to some of the festivities.
