Jorja Fox Leaving CSI Part Deux

by KD Griffin

Update: You can learn more about Jorja’s Season 7 contract status HERE.

Alright so I think we are all caught up. You have all the stories, promos, pics and details that I have up to this point. Now let’s get to some serious discussion. Don’t worry. I’ll still be your source for all kinds of juicy CSI dirt.

The biggest news in CSI world right now is the possibility of Jorja Fox Leaving. It’s all over the net including

Here
And Here

Everyone seems to have an opinion about whether Jorja has put her Johnette Hancock on the dotted line.

Living Dolls(7×24) may or may not be a cliff hanger. Only you spoiler people will know although the Post article says it will be open ended….whatever that means CSI doesn’t have a history of cliffhangers but there’s a first time for everything and Grey’s Anatomy has proved to be stiff competition and they might need a boost.

CBS refuses to comment.

Jorja’s people say they are in negotiations.

In this interview Jorja said that as far she knew everyone would be back.

Oh yeah and we also know that Grissom has to come clean about he (or is it him)and Sara during the season finale because Sara goes missing.

There are also some some telling Grissom Sara scenes ahead according to the Leapin Lizard promo pics. (See below)

What does it mean?
It means that Jorja is either in great position of strength or terrible place of weakness. I prefer to go with the later. When Season 7 started William Petersen was our real concern. We thought he wasn’t coming back and most rabid fans weren’t happy but they understood he wanted to pursue other things.

Shock of shocks he renewed and Jorja seemed to be the hold out. Or is she?

Maybe it’s all good and they are trying to sucker us in for the finale. Guess what PTB? It’s so working. Most people are up in arms that Jorja might not come. There are those few wet blankets that would be happy to see her go. I’ve never been clear why Jorja haters continue watching the show in the first place.

My general take is that Jorja will be back next season. What’s yours?

Jorja’s coming back. All this publicity is a huge PR stunt to gather more interest in the finale. That’s all.

  2. BRANDII ALIZE Says:

Didn’t Sara and Greg want more money a couple episodes ago and they still came back? Maybe I wrong… But she’ll be back… I agree it’s all for publicity to get us looking forward to looking/TIVO’ng/taping whatever possible to see the finale.

  3. AK Wagner Says:

I truly hope Jorja Fox returns for season 8. I would be terribly upset if she did not, and would probably stop watching the show all together. GSR is the only reason I set my clock on Thursday nights.

As for these articles: they are manipulative repeats of The Star’s article…The STAR!!! How reliable is that? It’s not.

I do not believe for one moment that Jorja Fox is arguing over a money, and if she were, I feel she has the right. $100k an episode is small potatoes compared to the profitability of this show. Give her anything she wants!!! Again, I do not feel that this is a major issue. IF, a big IF, any arguing was actually going on behind the scenes, I would think it would be about JF’s issues with CBS trying to KILL OFF her character. JF may indeed want to leave the show, but I doubt she’d happily allow the character she’s spent seven years building get killed off and dismissed like yesterday’s garbage. That’s just disrespectful in my opinion. CBS needs to get their act together.

    Killing Sara = Killing CSI

  4. mc Says:

i think she’s going to stay
it’s just a feeling in my gut
Sara gives a lot to this show
And all you sara haters you dont know what
    your talking about
the show has boosted ever since the GSR thing
    PLEASE STAY FOR SEASON 8!!

  5. kayla ball Says:

hey i totally agree with everyone. i think jorja fox is going to come back in season 8. i really agree 100% with AK Wagner. espcially with the last thing on her comment.

    killing sara = killing csi!!!!!!!!!
i really like your opions on this because the tv guide i have is saying that jorja fox was really under a model car with running water. the excutive producer said that he was very worried that jorja wasn’t going to make it through the filming. that really sounds like he was just tring to make it more interesting so readers would tune in.

JORJA FOX PLEASE STAY UNTIL THEY KICK THE ENTIRE SHOW OFF THE AIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. kim Says:

I think she will live but I keep reading that she is only coming back for a few episodes.

  7. laura Says:

If Sara doesn’t come back, I won’t watch this show anymore, it won’t be interesting…..

  8. hiutopor Says:

    Hi

    Very interesting information! Thanks!

    Bye

  9. vicmf Says:

I hope she leaves…her character is boring and the whole “Sara/Grissom” thing is gross! Ewww! I’m sure she will be back but the show would be better without her!
