Lauren Lee Smith Wed Earlier this Month

Lauren Lee Smith managed to slip one by the press. She and beau photographer Erik Steingroever married on April 4. Only family and close friends attended the small ceremony and reception was in Cultus Lake, Canada which is about 70 miles outside of Vancouver. (Smith is Canadian.)

Lee will next star in the feature film Helen with Ashely Judd. The film’s plot centers around a successful professional woman, played by Judd, who struggles with depression. Smith plays Mathilda, a woman with similar issues, who Judd’s character(Helen) tries to help. It’s already been released in Germany and will hit US theaters in November. Warning: Trailer contain strong language.

Congratulations to Lauren and her new husband. Maybe she’ll release photos at some point. A hit TV show, a new movie and a new marriage. It’s been a good few months for Lauren.
