Writers Invite CSI Fans to Join Picket Line

Fabulous CSI Producer/Writer David Rambo[pictured above] and other WGA members are inviting CSI fans to join the WGA picket line.

An announcement from David Rambo reads:

We’re inviting any CSI fans who live in, or can arrange to visit, the Los Angeles area to picket with us this Friday, November 16 from 10AM to 2PM. We will be at Universal Studios, Gate #2 on Lankershim Boulevard. Parking is limited, so we recommend carpooling or taking the Metro to the Universal stop. There are numerous gates at Universal, so anyone coming should be sure to come to Gate #2.

Thanks for the support,
David Rambo

I won’t be able attend but I’d be really appreciative for any video or pictures from the event.  You can also show your support by donating to CASA.

Thanks to Chadini for sharing the letter.

  1. PLS Says:

Rambo needs to be kicked off the writing staff. He and the producer CM are the main reason this show has become a soap.

Quality should be visible in the pay-check, the current writers are not producing quality but are reheating old themes of the show and mixing it up with juvenile romance.

  2. Marcella Says:

you are talking about a man’s liveleyhood here, they are on strike for not being paid fairly and according to what the big companies are making for the writers creative minds, things are not up to par because the pay is not up to par.

  3. Mandy Says:

Excuse me PLS but how is CSI a soap? The only couple canon right now is Grissom and Sara and you don’t see them making out in the lab. They have a ‘true love’ type of romance. What makes it juvenile?

  4. Wanda Says:

From what I hear David Rambo is one of the nicest people you’d want to meet. He’s done a great job with CSI & the GSR storyline. He & the other writers deserve all the support we can give them…as far as myself and others that I know of, CSI has one of the best, if not the best writing & producing staff out there…They handled Grissom & Sara’s romance with class.

    Thanks.

  5. Mar Says:

David Rambo is the best of the best! He has penned some of the finest moments in CSI history. (Butterflied, ToYD) He clearly respects the fans of CSI and listens to what they have to say. I only wish I lived closer so that I could march with the writers to show my support.
